Yehoah-Rapha Prayer House (“YRPH,” “we”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and how we protect it.

What we collect

We collect only what you give us: your name and contact details when you contact us, book a tax clinic appointment, register for a program, apply for a scholarship, request counselling, volunteer or donate. For scholarship applications, we also collect family income information (Notice of Assessment).

How we use it

We use your information only to provide the service you asked for, issue donation receipts, keep the records charities must keep under Canada Revenue Agency rules, and, if you agree, send you updates. We never sell, rent or trade your information.

Tax clinic information

Tax documents are handled under the confidentiality rules of the Canada Revenue Agency’s Community Volunteer Income Tax Program.

Counselling

Counselling requests and sessions are kept confidential, except where the law requires disclosure, for example to protect someone from serious harm.

Children

For students under 18, a parent or guardian provides consent and contact information.

Website data

Our website uses cookies and may use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site and to measure our advertising. This data does not identify you personally. You can block cookies in your browser settings.

Online donations

Online donations are processed by a secure third-party payment processor. YRPH does not store credit card numbers.

How long we keep it

We keep donation records for as long as the Canada Revenue Agency requires, and other information only as long as we need it.
