Ontario Math, the Singapore Way
Free Grade 8 math lessons online from a Canadian charity.
Why we built it
Grade 8 is the bridge to high school math. Students who are unsure about fractions, ratios and algebra often fall further behind in Grade 9, and private tutoring is out of reach for many families. Since 2021, YRPH has offered free tutoring to help close that gap. Ontario Math, the Singapore Way takes it online so any Ontario student can learn at no cost.
What students get
- Video lessons taught the Singapore way
- 20-question homework for each lesson, with an explanation for every answer
- Midterm and final tests with progress reports
- Every unit linked to the Ontario Grade 8 curriculum
For parents
- It’s free during the beta, and the first 3 lessons are free.
- Your child learns at home on a computer or tablet.
- Test reports show where your child is strong and where they need more practice.
