Yehoah-Rapha (YR) opened its first annual Virtual Tax Clinic on March 1, 2021. ‘Started with 5 volunteers who were trained by CRA to provide free tax returns to seniors, students, new Canadians, and family with modest income. Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, all tax return services are done virtually, which includes email, telephone and video conferencing. As of the date of writing, we have filed about 20 tax returns. This number will increase as we near the deadline of income tax return. Through, the free tax clinic, YR hopes to provide services to those who need it most.
